Robert Downey Jr. announces charity contest for trip to Age of Ultron premiere

I’s not an invitation to join the Avengers, but how about something that comes close? Fans now have the chance to attend the Avengers: Age of Ultron with Iron Man himself in Tony Stark-level style. On Monday, Robert Downey Jr. announced a contest benefiting the charity Julia’s House, a children’s hospice charity in England.

The contest is run through Omaze, which was also behind the Star Wars: Force for Change Initiative. To enter, all fans need to do is donate $10 through Omaze.com/RDJ. The full prize includes a trip to Los Angeles that will feature a breakfast at Randy’s Donuts, indoor skydiving, a helicopter ride around the city, a tux or gown fitting, and then, to cap it off, that aforementioned trip to the premiere in Downey’s motorcade.

If you win, Downey will “awesome the crap out of you,” he explains in the below video. According to Downey, you will meet up with Downey for “pre-premiere caviar,” and perhaps even “engage in battle of wits.” He may even call you “honey bunny,” if the video is any indication. “Read more”
